Comfort Hotel Flames Whangarei

I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the delicious food at the on-site restaurant. the cost was £118, which I found reasonable. the hotel's location is convenient, being close to pubs, shops, and local dining options, including a tavern and a super liquor store.

Had a very good stay on public holidays. The staff was very amiable, offered wake up calls and ironing free of charge. The hotel's location was quiet and handy, out to harbour with a mall and a supermarket within walking distance. Also, we where just a short walk away from an idiosyncratic folk museum.

the restaurant was nice with good food here, i had excellent dishes. the location was magnificent, the room was airy and modern.

I had a great stay here during the public holidays; the place was spotless, had a separate bathroom, and was in a fantastic location, just a short distance from the airport.

Absolutely great hotel with awesome staff on service and welcoming smile, everything was great. The room was tidy with tropical view, comfortable bed plus air con, reasonable prices. The location was marvellous and beautiful for traveling around Whangarei, adjacent to Paihia.

the room i was offered was good sized and wonderfully decorated with good views and comfortable bed, as example, liked it. the service was great and the pool was lovely.

This hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere and is conveniently located with on-site parking for added convenience.

I stayed in a room with a view of the stunning Whangarei Harbour and it was absolutely breathtaking. I loved having my own private balcony to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The room was also equipped with air conditioning which was a nice bonus. And the free WiFi came in handy too!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the showers in the rooms. They had a small size which made me feel a bit cramped.

Clean room with good size and balcony view of pool. Friendly staff and free parking. Good food from restaurant. Peaceful garden setting with swimming pool.

The room had a great view, the staff was well-trained, genuinely helpful, and fixed any issues, and the location was peaceful and convenient for getting around.

Affordable prices, had a great time staying here on Sundays and public holidays. Love the stunning view of the estuary from this place! 🌅

The rooms at Comfort Hotel Flames Whangarei are absolutely amazing! I stayed in one with a view of the Whangarei Harbour, and it was breathtaking. Sitting on my private balcony, I felt like I was in direct touch with nature. The tropical gardens were also a delight to behold. The air conditioning was a great perk, keeping me cool and comfortable during my stay. The free WiFi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected. the room was cozy and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.

Personally, I found the shower in the en suite bathroom a bit small. But hey, that's just my opinion and others might not mind it at all!
